What is Purna Vidya?

How is the syllabus organized?
The syllabus consists of 3 volumes in 12 parts. Volume 1, for children of ages 6 to 10, includes plays, games, and illustrations from the Ramayana, Bhagavata Purana and Mahabharata. Vol. 2, for ages 11 to 14, has two types of books, text books for students and Guidelines for Teaching. It also has puja that covers values, Ishwara, religious disciplines, religious culture and Vedic knowledge. Vol. 3, addressing teenagers between the ages of 15 and 17, covers topics on the fourteen-fold Vedic knowledge, including Bhagavad Gita and contemporary teen issues. The program is accompanied by instructional chanting tapes.
Purna Vidya Classes
Purna Vidya, the spiritual heritage of India, is taught to the kids in the same traditional way
through an unbroken sampradaya, that began with Lord Dakshinamurti, uplifted and maintained by Veda Vyasa and Adi Sankara, now handed directly to us by Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati and his students.
Dr. Kumd Singhal, a student of Swami Dayanandaji for the last 25 years, has been conducting Purna Vidya Classes for children for the last several years at her residence. Currently she is teaching three groups: Level 1 (Beginner; age group 4-7), Level 2 (Intermediate; age group 8-10), and Level 3 (Advanced; age group 10+).
New students are welcome in all the three groups. There is no tution fees for the children's classes except $51 registration fee.
